Biological properties	化学性质无色透明或浅棕色透明液体，含量80%-90%，沸程120.2-135℃（12.666-13.332kPa），折射率 1.4882，溶于乙醇、乙醚、苯，不溶于水。见光易变色。避光保存。用途医药中间体。生产方法将1,2,4-丁三醇和冰乙酸加入反应锅内，搅拌加热至100℃左右，通入干燥的氯化氢气体，在90-110℃反应0.5h，当尾气开始出现大量氯化氢时，检查反应终点，停通氯化氢。冷却后用饱和碳酸钠溶液洗涤，减压蒸馏，收集120-135℃（12.6-13.3kPa），得油状1,4-二氯-2-丁醇。收率50-60%。原料消耗定额：1,2,4-丁三醇2965kg/t、冰乙酸50kg/t、盐酸（工业品）7000kg/t。
