Production And Usage
Production process	以对氯苯酚、氯乙酸为原料，在碱性条件下经缩合、精制而得成品。以苯酚为原料将苯酚置于反应釜，加热熔融，加入15%的氢氧化钠，之后再加入氯乙酸和碳酸钠的混合水溶液，加热回流反应4h。反应物冷却后，用盐酸中和、酸化至pH值2～3，可生成苯氧乙酸，收率82%以上。苯氧乙酸溶于冰醋酸，在碘的催化下，在26～34℃下，缓慢通入氯气。反应物放置过夜，于冷水中析出对氯苯氧乙酸，过滤、水洗至中性后干燥，对氯苯氧乙酸用碳酸钠中和可得钠盐。
Biological properties	本品在低浓度时．有促进植物生长的作用，对双子叶植物效果尤为明显，但高浓度时反而有抑制作用。小白鼠经口LD50794mg/kg。
