Production And Usage
Production process	其制备方法是将2-氯-4-磺酰氯基苯甲酰氯滴加到亚硫酸钠和碳酸氢钠的水溶液中，反应温度40℃，在该温度反应3h，再升至75℃，再加入氯乙酸和少量的氢氧化钠，在105℃回流反应21h，冷却，酸化至pH＝1，得到的结晶经过滤、干燥得产品。或用2-氯-4-甲基磺酰基甲苯用硝酸或在催化剂钴盐存在下用空气氧化，均得到产品。
Application	2-氯-4-甲基磺酰基苯甲酸是除草剂磺草酮和硝磺酮的中间体。
