| Details | 4-Fluorobenzenesulfonyl-VL-CHO is a potent inhibitor of calpain I and II (IC₅₀ = 7.5 nM and 78 nM, respectively) but also of cathepsin B (IC₅₀ = 15 nM) and cathepsin L (IC₅₀ = 1.5 nM). The IC₅₀ values for other proteases such as interleukin 1β-converting enzyme, thrombin, factor VIIa, trypsin and chymotrypsin were above 100 µM. |
