| Details | Cys(NPys)-Antp Homeobox (43-58) amide, a sequence derived from the third helix of the Antennapedia homeodomain, can be used to translocate covalently attached peptides or oligonucleotides through biological membranes. The N-terminal cysteine residue which is protected by a 3-nitro-2-pyridinesulfenyl group facilitates the coupling to peptides and oligonucleotides containing a free thiol group. |
