| Details | The tetradecapeptide DRVYIHPFHLVIHS is an excellent substrate for human kidney renin (Km = 8.4 +/- 2.9 µM, pH 7.2, 37 °C). Human liver cathepsin D, rabbit lung angiotensinogen-converting enzyme, and reconstituted human serum also show slight abilities to cleave this substrate but do not produce detectable amounts of angiotensin I. |
