| Details | Immunohistochemical studies using an antiserum against rat neuropeptide W-23 revealed a limited distribution of the peptide in the rat brain. The pattern of distribution in the hypothalamus corroborates a possible role of NPW-23 on prolactin release and feeding behavior reported by others. |
