C7 displaced binding of (¹²⁵I-Tyr²⁶)-galanin (porcine) in rat hypothalamic membranes with an IC₅₀ value of 0.2 nM, as compared to IC₅₀ values of 150 nM and 0.8 nM for galanin (1-13) and galanin (1-29) (porcine), respectively. |
